Bugs had crept into the old Sportschau app over the years. In addition, the customer was hoping for a new, modern design. We were able to deliver both.
A new app presence was therefore needed for the cult format Sportschau. The Codevise team was responsible for building the app and our experts from the app agency were able to support them with a number of tasks, including creating the front end. For this, we used the React Native and TypeScript programming languages.
The overall goal was to optimize the presentation level for the ARD sports program's mobile app. We achieved this through a new modern design and improved user friendliness. In addition, any website bugs could be removed.
It was a great pleasure for us to participate in an ARD Sportschau project where we used React Native. As a programming language for developing mobile applications, React Native offers many benefits, including cross-platform support and rapid development speed. By working with the Codevise team, we were able to expand our experience in React Native development and develop a high-quality mobile application for the sports sector.
In another ARD Sportschau project, we were able to successfully use TypeScript as a programming language. TypeScript is a statically typed language that has enabled us to write high-quality code that is easier to maintain and can be extended with additional features. By working with the ARD Sportschau team, we were able to expand our experience in developing TypeScript applications and develop an innovative mobile application for the sports sector. We are proud to have been part of this project and look forward to further collaborations in the future where we can once again contribute our expertise in TypeScript.
