The television channel AstroTV wanted to optimize its operational efficiency by replacing outdated, Excel-based workflows with a customized ERP solution. The aim was to improve processes in the areas of accounting, scheduling, purchasing and order processing and to increase transparency and automation in all departments. Our team was tasked with designing and developing a tailor-made solution that would simplify work processes and enable data-based decisions.
Our approach to the AstroTV project was very collaborative and ensured that the needs of everyone involved were taken into account. We held regular feedback sessions to ensure that the solution could effectively replace the outdated processes.
In the design process, we focused on usability by using best UX practices to ensure that AstroTV's various internal teams could easily work with it. We started with low-fidelity wireframes and worked closely with stakeholders to collect their feedback and gradually refine the wireframes into high-fidelity designs. Our focus was on clear navigation, intuitive layouts, and ensuring that every department had easy access to relevant data. The final design was not only functional but also visually appealing and gave users a smooth experience.
In the development phase, we used Flutter to build a highly scalable and easy to maintain application that met AstroTV's operational requirements. By using cloud services, we were able to centralize all important data and ensure seamless data synchronization between departments such as accounting, planning and purchasing. By following programming best practices, we were able to build a secure, efficient system that supports compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
